 I'm Elexis, the brains and lead designer behind Fashion Designer Wanted. Since I was Little Lex, I have had this innate sense of style and a knack for sewing, so naturally, pursuing a professional degree in Fashion Design was a no-brainer. However, my conservative Southern medical parents had some apprehensions… It was far-fetched for them to believe that people need clothes! But I persevered, and now they’re my biggest fans.
My journey has taken me on a whirlwind adventure, zigzagging between the hustle and grind of the East (shoutout to Brooklyn) and the sunny, relaxed vibes of the West Coast. Yet, at my core, I'm a Texan through and through. I honed my fashion design skills at The University of Texas at Austin and have been perfecting my craft ever since. I'm thrilled to call Atlanta home, where I'm creating this legacy design agency and raising my sweetheart lover-boy, Enzo.
While my expertise lies in fashion design, my heart beats for creating connections and spreading positivity in our chaotic world. I’d truly love to meet you and be inspired by your story.   • Due to the nature of The Anti Crisis being a design subscription, you’re getting the best of both worlds (hello flexibility!).

    Hiring a full-time designer is costly (we’re talking at least $75,000 annually for a mid-level fashion designer, not to mention other employee costs like unemployment insurance, payroll taxes, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick days & vacation time, etc.), and hiring a freelancer for each separate task you need to be done can cost you more money or time, or sacrifice the integrity of your brand’s aesthetic.

  • Good question! Fashion design is so much more than just sketching beautiful clothes.

    We don’t want to bore you with technical terms, but fashion designers also serve as art directors, graphic designers (i.e. package design), technical designers (think fittings and measurements), and production managers (i.e. communication with vendors) to name a few.

    We have the answers to most things that relate to your clothing brand because we understand and have a genuine joy for the process!

  • Communication is the cornerstone of collaboration, and we take it seriously. At Fashion Designer Wanted, transparency and clarity are imperative. From initial consultations to final deliverables, we keep you informed every step of the way. Our collaborative process is designed to be seamless, efficient, and stress-free, ensuring that your vision is realized exactly (if not better) as you envision it.

  • Billing cycles are based on a 30 day period. If you choose to pause at the end of your cycle- no problem!

  • Due to the nature of everything being highly customized, refunds are not given. We will work together for complete satisfaction!
